RON CASWELL: Tuba
Ron
Caswell joined Beat Circus in 2002. He holds down one of the most unique
sounds on the tuba in modern music. Ron moved to NYC and started picking
up gigs at an early age with ensembles ranging from the Flying Karamazov
Brothers to the New York City Opera. He has recorded and performed with
They Might Be Giants, Anthony Braxton's Tri-Centric Orchestra, the Royal
Brass, the American Composers Orchestra, and Max Roach. He is a major part
of the uprising NYC gypsy music scene surrounding the club Mehanata, performing
with Slavic Soul
Party, Romashka, and Gogol Bordello. Ron also performs in Frank
London's Klezmer Brass All-Stars.
